Woost has been available as a beta version since the end of 2018; the first pilot customers are already excited about using it. Our team is working hard on market entry and is iterating intensively with the first customers. In June 2019 we were awarded with the NRW start-up grant.
At the end of 2017, the active acquisition of seed capital and funding was started. In June 2018, the EXIST start-up grant was awarded. At this point, Julius, the third founder, completed his studies and was able to devote his full time to the newly founded company. The scholarship period was used intensively to develop a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) with our technology and to launch Woost as a beta version.
Based on the research work during the master theses, the collaboration and communication software Woost was developed. During the year several iterations and design changes were made, new functions were added and the software was improved with the constant feedback of our pilot customers.
The idea of Woost originated from the master theses of the founders, who developed a prototype for graphical argument visualization at the Human-Computer Interaction Center (HCIC) of RWTH Aachen University.
